QLOVE: Valentine’s Debut

Role: Creative Director, Graphic Designer and Producer

Duration: 6 months

As a co-founder of QLOVE, I helped establish a bold, inclusive party space designed to celebrate queer expression while prioritizing safety, consent, and acceptance. Recognizing a lack of truly inclusive LGBTQ+ spaces in Tokyo’s nightlife scene, my co-founder and I set out to create an environment that felt sexy, fresh, and welcoming for all.

In my role as Creative Director, I led the development of QLOVE’s brand identity and creative strategy, crafting visually compelling flyers and digital assets for Instagram that captured the energy and essence of our events.

Reels for promotion

As part of our branding strategy, we created Instagram reels to promote the event, collaborating with photographers and videographers to craft a strong, cohesive visual identity while supporting the artists who showcased with us. I curated the wardrobe and worked closely with video editors to refine the aesthetic for QLOVE’s debut. Inspired by the Valentine’s Day launch, we chose a spring theme to embody our brand’s essence—safe, sexy, and fresh. Additionally, I selected the location, defined the style and theme, and oversaw the video editing process to ensure a polished final product.
